근데 솔직히 인정해야 할 것 같아요. 이 주식이 다시 오를 거라고는 전혀 예상 못 했는데 지금 너무 열이 받아요. 만약 이 주식이 어떤 회사 순환 매매나 긍정적인 여론 덕분에 20배 정도 뛴다면 정말 미치겠어요. 그냥 $4 정도로 다시 떨어지는 모습을 보는 게 오히려 마음이 편할 것 같아요.

이 시장에 합리성을 기대하지 마세요. 없어요. 40% 손실 위험 감수하기 싫으면 밈 주식은 사지 않는 게 좋아요.

로또 삼아 소량 샀는데 SPCX IPO 시점에 급등할 거란 얘기가 계속 있어서 떨어져도 안 팔았어요. 아마 내일이나 월요일에 팔 것 같습니다. 이런 급등은 비합리적이지만 그래도 손절한 건 좀 아쉽네요.

I bought a small amount as a lotto but the narrative was always that it's going to pump very near/during the space x ipo so I didn't sell when it started dropping and will likely do so tomorrow or on monday. Pumps like these are irrational but you still managed to paper hand it, bro, sorry to say.

어떤 사람이 개인 투자자들이 실수로 SPCX 대신 SPCE를 살 거라는 얘길 해서 재미삼아 몇 백 주 샀어요. 가장 설득력 있는 매수 이유였거든요.

전부 자금 흐름 예측에 기반한 거예요. SPCX는 청약이 4배 초과되었고, 2,500억 달러가 매수 의향을 보이고 있죠. SPCH, SPCU라는 2배 레버리지 SpaceX ETF도 광고 중이고요. 외국 자금도 많이 들어올 겁니다. SPCE 시가총액이 워낙 작아서 소량의 매수 오류만 있어도 가격이 급등할 수 있어요. 제 생각엔 이게 당분간 지켜볼 요소입니다.
추가로 공매도 비중이 25%나 되는데, 1% 매수 오류가 발생하면 25억 달러가 시가총액 5억 달러 주식을 사게 돼서 압박이 심해집니다. 0.1%만 오류가 나도 2억 5천만 달러가 쫓아가면서 강한 상승 압력을 만들어요.

All based on flow anticipation. SPCX is 4x oversubscribed with $250B trying to buy it. You'll also notice the 2x leverage SpaceX ETFs with tickers SPCH and SPCU advertising. There will also be lots of foreign flows coming in. The market cap is so low that just a small amount of error flow to buy SPCE would rapidly pull the price up. That's at least my initial thought, we will see how it fairs tomorrow.

Edit: Coupled with a 25% short float, a 1% error rate means roughly $2.5B goes to buy a stock with a market cap of $500m. Even if it's a .1% error rate, $250m chasing this would squeeze it hard.

내일 SPCX 상장할 때 사람들이 실수로 SPCE를 잘못 사고, 나중에 팔 때는 100달러 넘게 이익 낼 거라는 착각이 있습니다.

There's a falicy that people will make the mistake tomorrow when SPCX goes live they will buy SPCE by error and at the wrong price and profit when they sell, possibly at over 100 a share.

사람들은 6월 10일 이후를 기다렸고, 펌프를 이용하려 했는데 BSB가 제재를 가했어요. 지금 다시 오르고 있는 중입니다.

제 가설은 사람들이 바보들이 SPCX 대신 SPCE를 헷갈려 살 거라고 예상하고, 그 기대에 따라 SPCE를 사면서 주가가 올랐다는 겁니다. 이게 다시 자신들의 예측이 맞았다는 확신을 심어주고, 더 많은 사람들이 바보들을 이용하려는 시장에 몰려들게 하죠.
아이러니하게도 실제로 실수로 SPCE를 사는 바보들은 별로 없고, 펌프하는 사람들도 바보가 있다고 잘못 예상하는 사람들이에요. 결국 그들도 마지막에 손해 보는 상황에 빠질 수 있는데, 제때 빠져나오면 괜찮습니다 :)

My hypothesis is that people predict that idiots will confuse SPCE for SPCX and buy it increasing its price so in anticipation of that they buy SPCE to capitalize on this and this leads to pump in stock price which reinforces them into thinking they are right and attracts more people who want to capitalize on idiots

The irony is of course that there is no meaningful amount of idiots buying SPCE by mistake, the only people who pump it are those who wrongly anticipate existence of idiots and ironically they themselves enter the big last-man-standing-loses game of chicken which could be interpreted as being an idiot. Unless of course you exit on time :)
