If somebody is telling you a tiny coin “will hit 10 cents,” treat that as a claim to verify, not a thesis.
I would check it in this order:
1. Market cap, not just price. A move to 10 cents can be realistic or absurd depending on supply. Price alone is almost meaningless.
2. Liquidity depth. If a normal-sized sell would move the chart hard, the quoted market cap is decoration.
3. Contract / token controls. Look for mint authority, freeze/blacklist controls, sell taxes, transfer restrictions, or anything that lets insiders change the rules after buyers enter.
4. Holder concentration. If a few wallets or connected clusters control most of the supply, your real risk is not the chart — it is whether they can exit before you.
5. LP status and unlocks. Unlocked or tiny liquidity means the floor can disappear fast.
6. Source of the call. If the “10 cents” idea came from Telegram, Discord, Instagram, or a paid caller group, assume they may already own the bag they want you to buy.
