제가 잘 몰라서 그런데 이해가 잘 안 되네요. 대부분 지역에서 토지가 데이터센터 문제인 건 아니고(틀리면 알려주세요), 수냉식도 이미 쓰고 있잖아요. 전력 문제는 해상 데이터센터나 육상 데이터센터 모두 있을 것 같은데, 미 해군처럼 원자력 선박 얘기하는 게 아니라면 솔직히 잘 모르겠어요.

Call me stupid but I really don't understand it. Land is not the problem of data center in most places (correct me if I'm wrong), cooling via water is being used already so I don't see any edge here and power will be a constrain on both FDC and land DC. Unless we talking on a nuclear powered vessels like the US Navy has I really don't see the point here.

Heat impact on water is so small that I don’t understand the feedback here at all. Heat can also be used to desalinate water at the same time for free. Solar, wind and ocean power can cleanly power the facility as well. This is the right move.

장기간 내구성과 보안을 갖춰 장애 시 전문가가 직접 방문하는 일이 거의 없도록 지을 거라 믿어요. 장애 비용이 훨씬 더 클 테니까요. 솔직히 육상에서 제대로 하는 걸 피하려는 무리한 설계 같고, 규제를 피하려고 법이 없는 지역에 짓는 느낌입니다.

I trust they will build them with long term durability and security so they’ll rarely have to physically access them with experts during an outage event.

Because the costs of those events will 100x+ in time and cost.

It’s frankly absurd engineering to avoid doing things correctly on land to start with.

It smacks of finding ways to avoid regulations by building these data centers in places without laws.
