I'm like Peter Lynch (ha I wish), but seriously in one respect: unless you're buying a voo, what difference does the macroeconomic make? In the early summer 2025, things were hoppin. Google? 150. Iran hadnt happened yet recently, and health insurance companies were at all time lows. Both are way up with the straight of Hormuz closed. Point is, geopolitics, wars, whatever, but individual stocks, which I buy (I don't do indices) have their own journey which rarely involves the s&p level.
