트레이딩, 몇 년까지 도전해봐야 할까요? 🤔

트레이딩을 언젠가 그만둬야 한다면 그 기준은 어디일까요? 수익 내기까지 보통 3~6년이 걸린다는 말 속에서, '언제 포기해야 하나'는 고민이 현실적인 질문입니다. 오늘 포스트는 '포기 시점'을 고민 중이라면 주목할 만한 이야기입니다.

트레이딩 입문한 지 얼마 안 됐습니다. 트위터에서 한 트레이더 얘기를 봤는데, 무려 18년째 아직도 수익을 못 내고 있다고 하더라고요. 보통 수익 내기까지 3~6년 걸린다고들 하던데... 그 이상은 저에겐 좀 무섭게 다가왔습니다.

저는 솔직히 4년까지는 도전해 보려고 해요. 5년 차 넘어서도 제자리걸음이면 미련 없이 그만두려고요. 근데 문득 궁금해졌습니다. 어떻게 하면 저도 저 사람처럼 몇 년씩 허비하지 않고 끝낼 타이밍을 잘 잡을 수 있을까 싶어서요.

개인적으로 시뮬레이터 통과도 힘든 상태라면, 옵션 트레이딩 자체를 하지 말아야 한다고 봅니다. 그보다는 장기적으로 튼튼한 주식에 투자하고, 나아가서는 채권이나 인덱스 펀드 같은 안정적인 자산에 분산 투자하는 것이 낫습니다. 가능하다면 증권사에 실제 트레이딩을 맡기는 것도 방법이고요.18년 넘게 시도했는데도 실패했다면, 진지하게 물러날 시점입니다. 기본적인 기술적 분석 개념도 모를 가능성이 크고, KO(코카콜라)를 그냥 들고 있었어도 성과가 더 나았을 수 있습니다. 전 KO를 비교 지표처럼 쓰는 편인데, 배당수익률이나 성장성 측면에서 KO를 기준으로 삼고 있습니다.

Personally, if you can't pass the simulator, you shouldn't options trade at all. Instead, you should find very stable stocks to invest in for the long haul, and those stocks should be Index fund Kings and Queens of the ones you think will do well in a downed economy. Diversify, invest in treasury and bonds, plus hire a brokerage firm's day trader team to do the real investing for you.

Thus, anyone trying for 18 years, should not be in the game. Probably, they do not understand candlestick patterns, are staying in too long, and do not understand Moving Averages, MACD, Level 2 and so on. Heck, I could better than that guy, by simply foolishly investing in KO. I mention KO, but am not invested in them yet. I only use KO as the base line. For the 30 year investment where growth potential is high, I want their DivYield below KO. For income, I want their DivPayments to be higher than KO, but not too much higher. And, bottom line, I want to at least make what I'd make with KO as a minimum for the stocks that are not the Dividend paying stocks that have a good growth potential. This is what I use KO for.

저는 성과를 어느 정도 내고 있지만, 비유로 설명하자면 로켓 리그 게임에서 68% 승률로 1만 판 이상 했거든요. 근데 오래 한 사람들 중에도 감이 없는 경우 많아요. 단순히 버튼만 잘 누르는 게 아니라 전체적인 판단력도 중요하다는 말이죠.트레이딩도 마찬가지라고 봅니다. 그냥 손익분기점에 계속 머무르면서도 왜 그런지 이해를 못 하는 경우가 많고, 그런 이해를 하는 사람이 결국 성공하거든요. 10년 넘게 하고도 여전히 성공 못 했다면 방법은 두 가지뿐입니다. 누군가에게 제대로 배워보든지, 아니면 깔끔하게 그만두는 게 낫습니다. 혼자서 성공할 가능성은 정말 희박합니다.

im successful myself, but only comparison i have is i play a lot of rocket league i have 68% wr in over 11 000 games, im pretty much hardstuck silver( okok im diamond 3, always have been) but i see alot people from 10 years played and none of them have gamesense(some people are good at pressing buttons, but it doesnt work when enemy can defend), you have to be good at both gamesense and pressing buttons. i feel like this applies to everything, many people can do something in trading which makes them break even,but they might not understand why and those who have understanding of everything are successful, zo if you have traded for 10 years and arent successful, you have 2 choices.
1 - get someone to teach you everything
2 - quit because youre not magically gonna learn something that make u successful and even if you do, the odds of you finding these ingredients are very VERY low.
