요즘 NQ, CL, GC 같은 선물들이 너무 변덕스럽고 차트가 보기 어려워졌다고 생각하는 분 있나요? 승률이 좋았던 날보다 별로였던 날이 훨씬 많아진 것 같아요. 몇 달 전과 비교하면 장이 훨씬 복잡해져서 모멘텀도 많이 떨어진 것 같습니다. 제가 가진 수익 스크린샷과 현재 차트를 보면 정말 확연한 차이가 느껴져요.

거래가 없는 날도 있어도 괜찮아요. 저도 지금 그런 날을 보내고 있습니다. 오늘 변동성이 심하지만 매도세가 VWAP는 잘 지키고 있네요. 방금 7400이라는 중요한 감마 레벨에서 반등했고, 가격이 다시 밑으로 내려갈 때마다 매수세가 강하게 들어오는 중입니다. 내일은 어느 쪽으로 돌파되느냐에 따라 상황이 결정될 것 같아요.

It’s ok to have “no trade days”. Im currently in one myself. Volatility is crushing today, but bears are holding VWAP. However we did just bounce off a major gamma level at 7400, and all trips back down to the lows are getting absorbed on the tape. The break on either side will tell us what to expect tomorrow.

저는 직업 트레이더입니다. 지난주는 저에게 완벽한 한 주였어요. 한 번도 지지 않고 모든 거래가 계획대로 흘러갔죠. 그런데 이번 주는 좀 불안정합니다. 월요일은 3승 0패로 잘했지만, 화요일엔 첫 거래에서 평소 셋업이 실패하자 바로 거래를 중단했어요. 그 이후에도 비슷한 상황이 계속됐고, 오늘은 그냥 과감하게 위험을 더 감수하고 다시 들어가서 손실을 만회하고 약간의 이익도 얻었죠. 평소보다 거래 규모를 줄이고 빠른 반전을 노리는 방식을 취했는데, 그러면서도 평소 목표 수익은 달성했습니다. 내일은 다시 평소 스타일로 돌아가 보려 합니다. 안 되도 괜찮고, 만약 손실이 나도 이번 주 전체로 보면 플러스이면 됐다고 생각해요. 시장에 너무 휘둘리지 말고 필요하면 규모를 줄여서 조정하는 게 좋습니다.

Full-time trader here. Last week was perfect for me. It could not have gone more textbook. I did not lose a single trade or have a losing day all last week. My setup was flawless and it felt awesome. This week it’s been a little iffy. I don’t have much to show for this week. Monday was great, 3-0. Tuesday I had to stop after the first trade simply because my normal setup lost. It was immediately swallowed by an engulfing candle. It happened again yesterday. Today that happened again and I simply said, “fuck you” and got back in and made it back and then a little more, which is super risky in my opinion. But damnit I just wasn’t going to have it anymore this week. I realized this week is just one of those weeks, so I called an audible. I started scaling down to 1 micro per account and started taking quick reversals instead of my normal setup, as the candles were most of the time way bigger than the ATR which would normally force me on the sidelines. 15-20 points at a time on NQ. I hit my normal profit target with that today, even when my normal load is 7 micros to 1 mini per account, and locked myself out of the accounts. Normally I’m pretty even keeled and take 1-3 setups in a day, but today I took my frustration out on the market and I was fortunate enough to win over 200 some points. Tomorrow I’ll look for my traditional setup again. But if it doesn’t happen I won’t be upset. If I lose that’s okay too, I can still be up for the week. As we say here in Appalachia, “You’ll have that on them big jobs.” Good luck, and don’t let the market shake you! Scale down and call an audible if you have to, or play it safer and scale down and sit out.
