I have a lot of advice. I’m only going to share one piece though. It’s the most important piece of advice I could give you.

There will be a lot of traders who proclaim or even are experienced/profitable. Unfortunately, some of them have grown cocky and arrogant against the newbies. My advice: do not listen to those traders. Regardless of their success, their advice is useless if it’s going to be tainted with emotionally charged undertones.

If you’re going to listen to anyone, listen to the stuff he says. He’s pretty nice from what I can tell. Definitely brutally honest, but a true man of his word.

No one has all the answers, especially me, but I've tried to come up with something to help anyone out that is looking to get into trading or has started out and needs a path to follow.

I'm not selling anything, I'm just a guy been in the game for over 10 years, from the Carolinas, USA that absolutely loves trading and wants to help anyone who wants to help themselves in the tough world of trading.

As a beginner myself(haven’t traded yet) I’m still learning and watching videos of people that trade. I have no clue what are they talking about so I ChatGPT the terms lol. I wanted to start with 100€ and slowly build up but that’s not possible as I learned lately. so I’m still trading on paper accounts. I learned about trends and support/ resistance and trade on that. I try to base my entries based on the chart and once I am done with analysis I can’t move my SL/TP. Still trying to get familiar with all the terms.

* start by asking AI to get an understanding. Provide you information, understanding the basics, drill down. Watch videos on only the topics
* make a trading plan/strategy. I work full time and day trade options, once a day on ETFs like SPY, QQQ, IWM etc to make consistent profit. My plan fits my current circumstances and goals. Today's with fast internet, real time access to market data, brokers for retail, you can trade anything. However it needs to fit you. You can see my entry/exit for my daily trades on this subreddit.
* avoid paying monthly groups unless you have money to waste. If you are paying, go for one to one. This should align with your strategy/plan. Not to theirs. e.g. someone can be great at scalping the whole day with 3 monitors but for you, this is not viable
* no one is going to trade for you, it is you and the market, your own cash and decisons. Practice for 2-3 months to refine a strategy. Grow a small account consistent, restart a few times. Then only start with money you can afford to lose. Like a few hundred dollars. Get TradingView for charting and practising.
* your trading plan should only have less than 10 things you check before you make an entry. You are human, you don't need to be too smart while trading. Avoid all AI trading, they are useless and just hype.
* avoid fancy new shiny videos on trading or some sweet people. You will realise it is mainly marketing. You can watch Al Brooks videos, they may look boring but lots of information in them.
