you shouldnt be expecting the market to do anything. You should react to what it is doing.
Dont make trades trying to predict the markets next move.
I simply Alert my self according to my own standard when the markets switches into an up or down move, and then follow along accordingly

NQ has been breaking out and going up and not offer any pullbacks for days. It's stupid but just go with it. You're talking daytrading, you don't have to make sense of it.

There weren't any signs that the market wanted to roll over today. You have to trade probabilities and reactions, not expectations.

the simple things , hedge fund turn to fomo mode again as wars is about to end. ceasefire every where lebanon-iraq start today for a week. iran and us will talk later this week end suppose to extend ceasfire as well

Well, well, well...

Just becoz price pumped up doesn’t mean immediate reversal. For reversal to happen there should be exhaustion of upward momentum. Then comes trend change or Mean Reversion. So next time wait for exhaustion of momentum. Then upon confirmation take trades.

Always wait for confirmation don't just go with gut feeling

In my humble opinion you don’t trade on what you expect markets to do, but watching what they are doing and going with it. I found more success when I am aligning with higher time frames, follow price action. set up is in 4 hours, execute on a 5 min breakout. I started this not so long ago, although I backtested a few years, it’s still yearly, but so far so good (at least much better than it was).

Session Order Flow and Higher Time Bias. You can see there is buyside liquidity sitting above on NQ. PPI release yesterday which is a red folder event came in positive. Today at 830AM release, Exports exceeding Imports YoY. Trump messaging optimism. Earnings for BoAmerica coming strong and many others. All these reasons are enough for market to continue going up. After knowing all this, why will you counter trade. Please understand, higher time bias is critical and session order flow after market open also got support from ORFVG. All these are good enough reasons for you not to expect retracement or sellside. Trust HTF and Session OF.
