If you have the appropriate capital, a proven system, and funds to handle daily life, I 100% disagree. You should go full time. Trading isn’t a side hustle, it’s a job or it’s a donation.

thats true…full time only if u have large bank…if not then not yet…also if u have too much time on ur hands and expenses are covered then lock tf in an make it work…shit is easy but you must know where to look with ur third eye…if u wanna go full time early…start with positional/swing trades…the fastest way to fail is daytrading early

Logicamente, acho uma pressão muito grande se você depender somente do trading como fonte de renda, geralmente esse pessoa que é bem sucedido no trading, tem uma reserva financeira muito boa para períodos ruins ou até empresas e outros investimentos por fora, lembrando que você nunca pode depender de uma única fonte de renda, mesmo que essa fonte seja um trabalho convencional, pois a qualquer momento você pode ser mandado embora.

However to go full time normally you need to have a safely net that gives you enough money to pay the bills. 

Sometimes that can be a rented apartment, other times a full or part time jobs, and sometimes can even just be low hanging fruit trading strategies that while not life changing give you consistent wins etc. 

Without a safe net it’s hard to do trade full time.

you are right. going full time adds pressure and turns choppy months into forced trades. a job removes that stress so you only take good setups and can reset after losses. time freedom matters more than screen time, so trading part-time is usually the safer path

Set a reasonable daily loss limit and obey to that limitation.

Protect the balance is the most important thing in trading.

Shit happen sometime. And when it happen? Just let it go.

Let it be tiny draw back of your profit. Stop emotion interfering your risk management rule.

Being a full-time trader doesn't have to mean you stare at charts all day looking for trades.
You'll need to find other activities (preferably related to trading, so you're always building experience in it)... but also, go outside and enjoy life.

If every loss feels like a threat, then you don't have enough cushion in the bank... then yah, maybe you should get a part-time job to provide that cushion (outside of your trading hours).

100% agree that freedom is the goal... so frame your trading like that. What is the minimum you need to make each month to be comfortable and free?. Shoot for that.... and as you get better and your account grows, scale up and grow profits.... diversify.. and yes, more streams of income is good. Trading is a business, we are all entrepreneurs who are betting in ourselves... so hone all your skills and get the most out of them.

Don't just look for traded all day, that is the fastest way to fail.

Trading gets to a point where having a full time job is pointless. Once you’re able to make your monthly salary in day or even yearly salary in a day there’s no point in keeping a job.

With that being said, trading is an eat what you kill career so you need to have multiple years of income in liquid enough assets for you to draw from if needed. Otherwise the pressure of needing to make money to pay for your life will create a lot of mental stress.

It all depends If you're considering going full-time as a trader you need significantly more income than most people unless you're making 10-20k a month consistently with 50-100k saved up if not more then I wouldn't even consider it.

But if you're doing that then moving to an island nation and living like a king for 2-5k a month is nothing take the extra money invest in stable assets and dividend paying stocks.

I personally will be able to start investing in some business ventures as well starting an insurance agency to potentially add another source of income etc etc.

You should always plan on diversifying your income outside of trading due to the inherent risk. My main goal now is getting to the point I can make 10-20k consistently building a nest and then diversifying from there.

But yes the entire point for me is FREEDOM to not need a job and have to show up to a place everyday. There is no circumstance where I become consistently profitable as a trader and keep my job I hate working having to show up somewhere everyday being told what to do and I have my own passions none of them align or are even possible if im an employee 😂😂
