최근 경제 지표들은 안정적인 편이지만, 원유 가격 상승과 불확실한 고용 상황 등으로 인해 앞으로 경제 상황이 더 악화될 가능성이 있다고 생각합니다. 현재 발표된 데이터는 뒤늦게 하향 조정되기도 하기에, 실제 경제 악화는 앞으로 수치로 드러날 수밖에 없습니다. 투자자들은 당장의 수치보다는 향후 변화할 경제 환경에 더 주목해야 한다는 점을 다시 한번 경계해야 할 것 같습니다.

요즘 경제 지표가 그럭저럭 안정적인 것 같긴 한데, 이란 전쟁 영향이 투자자들이나 시장에서 과소평가되고 있는 건 아닌지 고민하게 됩니다. 물론 최근 발표된 수치들을 전적으로 신뢰하긴 어렵습니다. 발표 후에 종종 하향 조정되니까요.

하지만 지금 원유가 백 달러 넘고, 주유소 기름값도 오르고, 고용 불안 같은 문제들도 많습니다. 이런 상황에서 앞으로 나올 분기별 경제 지표가 꽤 심각할 수도 있고, 전반적인 경제 전망이 어두울 가능성이 크다고 봅니다.

사람들 기분 상하게 할 수도 있지만, 지나친 비관이 너무 과해진 것 같아요. 자세한 이야기는 피하겠는데, 관세 전에도 빈 선반이 생긴다거나 미국과 전 세계가 거래를 끊을 거라는 얘기, 미국과 NATO 사이에 전쟁이 난다는 얘기가 많았지만 아직 그런 일은 없잖아요. 그린란드 침공 걱정도 한때 많았는데 지금은 조용하구요. 이번엔 유가 쇼크 얘기가 나오고 있는데 시장은 별로 신경 안 쓰는 것처럼 보여요. 앞으로 어떻게 될지 두고 봐야겠지만, 계속 지나친 비관만 쏟아지는 분위기네요.

At the risk of angering people - the doom and gloom is being dialed up to comical levels. I'm not going to say why because it usually brings out nasty comments. Take reddit for example - I am still waiting for the empty shelves that were promised by the highly upvoted comments before the tariffs. I am still waiting for the entire world to stop doing business with the US like the highly upvoted comments were prophesizing. I am still waiting for the world to isolate the US like the highly upvoted comments were predicting. I am still waiting for that war between the US and the rest of NATO that the highly upvoted comments on here were so sure would transpire. Remember the Greenland invasion woes and the literal thousands of articles and YouTube videos popping up going over those scenarios? I guess that died down. Now, the narrative is oil shock, it's being pushed, but it looks like the market doesn't seem to care.

It remains to be seen how this will all turn out, but it doesn't stop the reddit doomers from going into overdrive

지수는 역대 최고치를 기록 중인데, 이란 전쟁을 마치 베네수엘라에서 갑자기 벌어진 군사 훈련처럼 무시하고 있어요. 의미 없는 반응이라는 얘기죠.

The indexes are at ATH. It's treating the Iran War like that overnight military exercise in Venezuela. Meaningless.

미래에 대한 걱정이 적절하다고 봐요. 보통 뒤늦게 나오는 경제 지표와 실시간으로 반영되는 시장 충격 사이에는 이런 괴리가 있기 마련이니까요.
