If you would say 99% of people never make a living playing football that's also correct, still millions try it.
If you only consider a subset of those people as football players, it's also not 99% losers anymore
If you consider only people with institutional level education or hardcore geeks traders, it's probably more like 80% making money
I never considered most people as traders.. most people that trade are gamblers..so my chances were way better than 1%

As a profitable trader for the last 11 years, I don't have time to post a journal, and honestly many of my weeks are boring as far as trades are concerned.
Last week I traded twice. That's it. ORB strategy Wed on SPY and ORB on MSTR on Friday. Each for over 500%. The rest of the week was meetings at work and just waiting for a good setup that I could keep an eye on between meetings. Always have a trailing SL which fortunately didn't hit on either trade last week

Its about stamina. 99% of “traders” within their first 3 years cant hang. Trader University weeds people put. But these numbers are still included in success percentages. Percent of successful traders that are still in the game at 3 years, likely increases substantially.
