Yeah my strategy failed (long day trader) for 6 months straight and instead of quitting or changing it I just kept swinging and I got some of the best entries on my day trades during this rally when the chat rooms were confused and lost Paid back that 6 months of chopping and losing for sure. Lol, we have all been there. One time. I caught this amazing run with a simple credit spread strategy using 0DTE options and made over 300% in one month. I gave my 2 weeks notice, I thought I no longer needed my job. Its funny looking back on it now because I blew up my account the next month. This was of course before I actually started to do backtesting and forwartesting and develop actual systems properly. I think when you are new you just don't realize that you can have a few weeks or few months consistently profitable and it may not stay that way. One change in the markets and the system stops working. Great Question, this can be really disappointing and confusing for newer traders who think they have got it and then get an unexpected rug pull.
