3년 차입니다. 계좌에 5만 달러를 유지하고 있고, 손실이 50달러를 넘긴 적은 없어요. 지난 3년간 평균 수익은 6만 2천 달러 정도 됩니다.

3rd year. I keep 50k in my account. I have never sold for a loss of more than $50. My average in those 3 years is 62k in gains.

I day trade full time as in it's my primary source of income and I don't have an employer. I trade UPRO and TQQQ only. I started doing it full time a little over a year ago in year 6 of my trading career. But I think I would have gotten to this point quicker had I just stuck to index fund etf trading, and not spent my earlier years trying to trade hugely volatile assets--the curve was up and to the right, but it didn't inspire confidence to move it to a full time gig because the profits were inconsistent. These index fund etfs are "boring" to trade, but they are easy stable and consistent money month in and month out.

그게 목표긴 한데, 거래만으로 수입을 얻는 건 좀 무섭기도 해요. 스트레스가 커져서 전략을 계속 고수하기 어려워지죠. 그래도 평생 책상에만 붙어있는 건 싫습니다.

That’s the goal, but it’s also kinda scary if your only income is trading. Makes it a lot more stressful and hence less likely to stick to a strategy. But regardless I don’t want be tied to a freaking desk my whole life.

트레이딩을 16년째 하고 있습니다. 처음 10년은 수익을 못 냈는데, 공부도 하루 평균 1시간 정도에 데모 계좌로만 거래해서 큰 노력을 하지 않았거든요. 그 뒤로는 진지하게 임해서 4년 동안 파트타임으로 꾸준히 좋은 수익을 냈고, 지난 2년간은 전업으로 하고 있습니다. 2020년 이후 연평균 수익률은 70~80%이고, 몇 년 전에는 주로 크립토 차익거래에 집중했어요. 지금은 주식 위주로 거래하며 7가지 전략을 자동으로 운용 중입니다.

I have been trading for 16 years now.
The first 10 years I wasn’t profitable but I was also very casual about it. Studying trading only for an average of an hour a day and mostly trading on demo accounts which just wasn’t enough effort to make it.
Then I started to take it seriously and made good money part time consistently for 4 years and now I’ve been full time for the last 2 years.
Average returns since 2020 are 70-80% yearly on a 6 figure account. A few years ago I focussed on finding arbitrage opportunities, mostly in crypto. Now I’m mostly trading equities, currently running 7 strategies fully automated.

전업으로 트레이딩하고 있지만 재택 마케팅 일을 하고 있어서 한 모니터는 고객용, 다른 한 모니터는 트레이딩 뷰로 1~2번 정도 거래해요. 평일 내내 모니터는 보지만 아직은 주 수입원은 아닙니다. 목표는 전업으로 삼는 겁니다.

I trade full time but I work from home in marketing and one monitor is my clients, the other is trading view where I place 1-2 trades a day at MOST and then look over at it as I work. Fulltime as in I watch it all day m-f but not techincally dependent on it as my main income source. That is the goal though.
