만약 가격이 목표가(TP)보다 훨씬 더 오를 것을 정말 알았다면, 애초에 그 위치에 TP를 설정하지 않았겠죠? 즉, 사실은 모른다는 뜻입니다.

저는 이익 실현을 분할로 하는 시스템이 있어요. 큰 움직임에 포지션 전체를 계속 유지하는 건 어렵거든요. 보통 3분의 1씩 매도합니다. 손실분이 1:1이 됐을 때 손절가를 진입가로 옮기고, 1:2까지 가면 절반을 팔고 나머지는 계속 놔둡니다. 수백 건의 거래에서 제 위험 대비 보상 비율(R:R)은 평균 1:5 정도예요. 저는 스윙 트레이더인데 명확한 이익 목표보다는 변동성을 잡으려 하고, 시장이 크게 움직이면 크게 수익을 내는 전략입니다. 물론 전 포지션을 계속 들고 있으면 더 큰 수익도 가능하지만, 저는 꾸준함을 더 중요하게 생각해요. 이 방법이 저에게는 큰 움직임을 안정적으로 잡는 유일한 방법입니다.

For me I have a profit taking system to let trades run. It's very difficult to hold your entire position size for huge move. I typically take it in 1/3 rds. Once I get a 1:1 stops move to break even once I get to 1:2 I take half off the table and let the rest run. Across hundreds of trades my R:R averages around 1:5 RR. I swing trade for reference and generally don't have a firm profit target, I'm simply trying to capture volatility and let the market decide if it wants to turn me into a big winner. Of course my RR could be bigger if I left the full position size, but I prefer the consistency, there's nothing more frustrating than capturing a good move and not getting paid at all for it.There's plenty of trades that hit break even after taking 50% profit, but this is the only way to capture big moves consistently in my oppinion

If you are starting out and you have no idea how to trade, what I can recommend you to do is to go ahead and look up some kind of a strategy finder, some kind of AI tool that allows you to describe a strategy and then backtest it on a set of data. I can't recommend to you, unfortunately, any kind of website like this, but I am 110% sure you can find plenty of those. So go ahead, play around with these sites, find a strategy that works, okay, and then your task as a trader is very simple: Fucking see the edge or the strategy manifested on the charts and enter the trade. Don't think about it after you enter a trade. The trade can be either closed if your stop loss is hit or take profit is hit, okay? The real idea is that basically you know that your strategy works, you know that there is an edge to it, and you know that if you can stick to your edge, then it will be fine. I've been trading for the past five years and this is the one and only advice that's actually helped me get out of being unprofitable. I was down around $5,000 and then I made that and more. And the idea was to just really find a strategy, find the edge that works, and then stick to it with all your might and stick to it with dear life.
