오늘은 주식매매 없이 시장 상황을 지켜봤습니다. 우주 관련 섹터가 하락했지만 곧 반등할 것 같아 관망하는 중입니다. 매매 타이밍과 이유를 신중히 판단하는 점에 집중해야 합니다.

로드투로스 42일째, 오늘은 매매를 하지 않고 하루를 보냈습니다.

아침 6시 40분에 장을 확인했는데 우주 산업 섹터가 하락하는 모습이 안타까웠습니다. 하지만 곧 다시 반등할 것이라 생각합니다.

$ANY 주가가 급등하는 걸 봤지만, 초반 매도세가 강해 보여서 매수하지 않았습니다. 매도자가 너무 많아 보여서 신중해졌습니다.

$TGHL도 시세가 움직였지만 이유를 잘 몰랐고, 1달러를 넘을 때까지도 좋은 매매 기회가 보이지 않아 손대지 않았습니다.

오늘은 여기까지 하고 43일차를 준비하겠습니다!

존경을 담아 말씀드리지만, 지금 하고 있는 방식은 제자리걸음일 수 있습니다. 소형주 데이트레이딩은 매우 어려운 방식입니다. 특히 자금이 적을 때 더욱 그렇죠. PDT 규칙이 이를 조금 바꾸긴 했지만 선물 거래보다 훨씬 어렵습니다. 프로펌에서 선물 거래를 해보는 걸 추천합니다. 그 이유를 말씀드리고 싶어요.

소형주로 어느 정도 성공 경험이 있다면 선물 거래에서도 좋은 성과를 낼 수 있습니다. 이미 차트와 지지/저항, 가격 움직임에 대해 많이 알고 있기 때문입니다.

매일 한 가지 지수만 거래한다고 상상해 보세요. 어떤 종목을 거래할지 고민할 필요 없고, 거래량, 가격, 뉴스, 숨은 매도세 등 수많은 요소를 신경 쓸 필요가 없습니다. 거래 전에 고려할 게 너무 많고, 빠른 매매 실행과 정확한 진입과 퇴출이 필요합니다. 정말 어렵습니다.

로스가 최근 도전했던 소형주계좌 챌린지 결과를 보면 사실 몇 차례 시도는 포기한 상태입니다. 계좌가 폭락한 건 아니지만 원하는 만큼 성공하지 못했습니다.

로스는 대단한 트레이더입니다. 가격 움직임에 대한 감각이 뛰어나고, 수만 달러 규모의 포지션을 몇 초 안에 진입과 청산합니다. 엄청난 속도의 의사결정이 필요하죠. 매우 어렵습니다.

With all due respect, you are spinning your wheels. Day trading small caps is day trading on hard mode. Especially with a small account. PDT rule is changing that aspect, but it is still WAY more challenging than futures. Go to futures with a prop firm. Please please please allow me to explain why…

If you have been trying small caps with any kind of success, you will be a decent futures trader. You know everything you need to know about trading already. You know candle sticks, support/ resistance, and price action.

Imagine waking up everyday and trading only one index. No more worrying about which ticker to trade. No more worrying about float. No more worrying about price, breaking news analysis, hidden sellers, whether the company themselves are selling shares, which shiny new ticker will steal attention, volume, short interest, country of origin, continuation, time of day, etc., etc., etc. You have so many things to consider BEFORE even taking a trade, then you have to be lightning fast with perfect execution, perfect entry, perfect exit, time and sales, level 2, etc., etc. It’s very difficult.

Now look at Ross’s own small account challenge performance the last few times he’s tried it. He basically gave up on the last few attempts. No, he didn’t blow them up, but he wasn’t as successful as we all hope to be.

Ross is an amazing trader. He has extremely honed intuition of price action. He enters and exits $100K + positions in seconds. Lightning fast decision making in literally a couple seconds. It is extremely difficult.
