Now what you do next is simple:
Pick one strategy. Keep it basic (something like a break and retest). Then backtest the hell out of it on historical data. I’m talking hundreds of trades minimum.
If the results aren’t good, don’t jump to another strategy. Add one simple filter or variable, then restart the entire backtest. You changed the system, so your data resets. Repeat this process until the numbers actually make sense.
Once you have a plan backed by real stats (win rate, RR, drawdown, everything), move to demo. Trade it live for at least 6 months. Yes, it’s long. That’s the reality.
If you’re profitable over those 6 months, then you can even think about real money or a prop firm.
Everything comes down to one thing: a system backed by math and probabilities that you trust enough to follow without hesitation.

I would suggest finding a strategy that is simple and repeatable that you can easily backtest. I started with tjr took the liquidity sweeps from him added in high volume and a tight stop no fvg or ifvg or whatever else all the ict traders use.
