초보가 무작정 거래를 안 하는 날을 갖는다는 건 잘못된 생각일 수 있습니다. 실제로 시장에서 이익을 낼 수 있는 눈을 길러야 그런 선택이 가능해지기 때문입니다. 그래서 초보자라면 꾸준한 경험과 배움을 통해 자신만의 전략을 만들어가는 과정에 집중해야 합니다.

요즘 거래 영상들 보면 '거래하지 않는 날'에 대해 이야기하더군요. 설정을 기다리라는 말도 나오고요. 그런데 제 생각에는, 초보라면 그런 조언이 맞지 않는 것 같습니다. 누군가가 '오늘은 거래 안 할 거야'라고 말할 만큼의 자격을 갖추고 있어야 합니다. 또는 '하루에 한두 시간만 거래하고 꾸준히 수익을 내거나 작은 손실만 보는 게 가능하다'는 것도 마찬가지입니다.

시장에서 나만의 우위를 찾는 법을 배우는 단계에서는 그런 게 통하지 않아요. 오히려 많은 시간을 시장에 노출시켜 경험을 쌓아야 합니다. 정말 많은 시간이 필요하죠.

초보자는 더 많이 거래하는 것보다 적게 거래하는 게 맞습니다. 실제 거래를 하지 않아도 시장에서 배울 수 있는데, 이게 초보의 특징이죠.

안타깝지만 고통이 가장 좋은 교훈입니다. 수백 개의 조언을 듣고 읽어도 직접 경험해 봐야 진짜 깨닫게 되죠. 그래서 성공한 트레이더들 대다수가 여러 번 계좌를 말아먹은 경험을 갖고 있습니다. 뼈아픈 손실이 있어야 교훈이 깊게 남아요.

Unfortunately, pain is the best lesson in this reality. You can read/watch hundreds of cautionary tales, but the lesson really doesn’t stick until you’ve personally experienced it.

It’s why most successful traders have similar origin stories involving multiple blown up accounts. It takes a personal gut wrenching loss to really drive a lesson home.

이 글 올리신 게 재미있네요. 저도 오늘은 거래하지 않은 날이었어요. 레버리지 없는 계좌는 수익 났는데, 레버리지 계좌는 변동이 없었거든요. 주말 앞두고 사이버보안 분야에 투자하기도 애매해서요. 이번 주 수익 조금씩 정리하고 오늘은 관망했는데, 아마 원하신 뜻과는 다르지만 제 하루를 잘 표현한 것 같아요.

Funny you posted this. Today was a no trade day for me. When my non leveraged accounts were gaining but my leveraged account stayed flat - not enough exposure to cybersecurity in that account but it's also not really worth rotating into just ahead of the weekend. Happy to trim profits all week and stay on the sidelines today. Maybe not what you meant when you posted this but it summed up my day pretty well.

이 부분은 좀 다릅니다. 말한 '많은 시간'은 차트를 반복해서 보고, 바 리플레이를 활용하고, 전략을 테스트하는 시간이죠. 그냥 하루 종일 차트만 바라보는 건 의미 없어요. 확립된 검증된 시스템이 없다면 아무 소용없다는 말입니다. 차트를 아무리 봐도 그걸 이해하고 수익 나는 시스템으로 해석하지 못하면 의미가 없어요.

this is where youre wrong. you spend that "dirt" time you speak of going over charts. using bar replay, testing a strategy. just sitting and staring at current charts all day isnt going to do anything for you if you dont have a tested and validated system in place. you can stare at all the charts you want, they dont mean shit unless youre able to interpret them into a system you understand and that is profitable.

죄송하지만 동의하지 않아요. 저는 편한 거래만 보고 아니면 잔디 깎거나 정원 잡초 뽑는 등 다른 일을 합니다. 거래하지 않는 날도 당연히 인정하고, 그 시간을 공부할 기회로 활용해요.

Sorry must disagree. I either see the trades I am comfortable with or I go do some other shit like mow the lawn or weed my garden. I have no trade days and accept them for what tbey are. A chance to study etc.

그건 틀렸어요. 거래할 때와 안 할 때를 아는 방법은 명확한 진입 조건으로 구성된 자동화된 거래 시스템을 갖추는 겁니다. 진입 조건이 충족되지 않으면 거래하지 않으면 되고, 거래 시간이 명확하면 더 쉬워집니다. 많은 시간을 쓸 필요도, 수천만 원 손실을 내면서 배울 필요도 없어요.

This is false my friend. How you arrive at knowing when and when not to trade is by having a completely mechanical trading system with clearly defined rules that state the conditions for entry. If the rules for entry do not trigger, you do not trade and this gets easier when you have a clearly defined session for trading. You don’t need a lot of dirt time and you don’t need to burn through thousands upon thousands in order to learn this.

그 영상들이 '거래하지 않는 날'을 상처럼 말하는 게 아니에요. 어떤 날은 거래 조건이 안 나오니 무리하게 거래하지 말라는 뜻이죠. 특히 초보들은 감정에 휘둘려 거래하기 쉬우니까 거래하지 않는 날을 통해 배울 수 있습니다. 전략이 없으면 거래하지 말아야 하며, 경험 쌓는다고 손실 내려고 강제로 거래해서도 안 됩니다.

Those videos don't talk about no trade days meaning that they're a prize of some sort; they talk about them because some days you don't see your setups, and so you shouldn't feel pressured to trade. Beginners can especially learn from having no trade days because they're more susceptible to trading off of emotions. Sometimes the strategy isn't there and so you shouldn't trade. You shouldn't force trades just to get experience in losing money.

아닙니다. 이것 때문에 PDT 규칙이 꽤 좋은 이유 중 하나입니다. 거래를 적게 하게 만들어서 더 좋은 기회를 보고 며칠에 걸친 전략을 생각하게 하죠.

No this is another reason why the pdt rule has been pretty good. You’re forced to trade less so you learn to value better opportunities or think multi day strategies.
